In 2008, the Masai giraffe exhibit, featuring Autumn and Walter, was opened to the public. In 2014, Ladybird, a 44-year-old female African elephant, was euthanized after a month-long bout of abdominal pain left her immobile and unable to stand.

How to donate to the Greenville Zoo alligator exhibit?

Visit the Greenville Zoo June 11-20 and leave your name suggestion in the drop box inside the alligator exhibit. Zoo staff will choose the top five names and open online voting from June 23-30. Anyone may vote with a donation of ANY amount. The name that brings in the most donations will be the winner.
