INSYDIUM’s X-Particles is a fully featured advanced particle and VFX system. Designers can satisfy all their particle needs: Cloth, Smoke, Fire, Fluids, Grains & Dynamics from within a unified system. X-Particles is built seamlessly into Cinema 4D like it is part of the application.
Where do you put X particles?
Install location It is strongly recommended that X-Particles is installed in the plugins folder in the user preferences folder rather than the folder containing the Cinema 4D program file.
Does octane work with X particles?
In the mini Tutorial below you will see how Octane works with X-particles emitter. Right-click on the xpEmitter object and select “Octane Object Tag” from the pop-up menu. Then select the Object Tag and drag & drop the “Platonic” object to Particle Rendering Tab. Complete the setup as shown in the following image.
