How breathable is NeoShell?

NeoShell consists of a membrane of millions of nanofibers that provide an effective barrier against water and wind while allowing air and sweat vapor to move away from your body. This membrane has a breathability rating of 30,000g/m2/24h mark, which considerably outperforms the industry standard of 20,000.
Is Polartec NeoShell windproof?
Even though NeoShell isn’t technically windproof, it is still waterproof. Polartec claims NeoShell has a waterproof rating of 10,000mm (for more on waterproof ratings, check out Outerwear 101), and my experience corroborates that 10K number.
Is Polartec 200 waterproof?
Polartec NeoShell provides good protection against the rain. However, no so-called waterproof/breathable fabric is completely waterproof. Most companies use the Polartec scale of 100, 200, 300—the higher the number, the higher the loft of the fleece, and the warmer (and heavier) the jacket will be.

Another plus, FutureLight is several times quieter than Gore-Tex, eVent, or any other nylon-based fabric. It’s not as silent as cotton. This is especially noticeable when compared side-by-side with other water and windproof fabrics. If this is the future, it will thankfully be a much less obnoxious one.
Is Polartec fleece windproof?
